A beautiful start to summer

On June 21st, the most beautiful time of the year officially began. At the start of this summer, the stars will meet at Schleyer-Halle and Porsche-Arena.

Now that some sporting highlights have occurred over the last few weeks (such as the European Darts Grand Prix and the OLYMP Final4), we look forward to a colorful program over the coming months in the “Hallenduo”. A diverse program awaits - from heavy metal bands to rock'n'roll icons, from magical magicians to entrancing horse shows - there will be something for everyone and every taste in June and July.

The summer season officially kicks off on Thursday, June 23rd, with the metal legend of Judas Priest. The Brits will look back upon 50 years of band history with their anniversary tour making a stop at the Schleyer-Halle. There are still a few tickets available. Then on Tuesday, June 28th, Stuttgart welcomes the rock star band KISS. After a 45-year career, the US idols will be retiring next year. On their "End of the Road" tour, Kiss will let it “rip” one more time in the Schleyer-Halle. It is the last chance to experience the four-member band up close. On Thursday and Friday (July 7th and 8th), Vocatium, the trade fair for training and studies, will return to the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle. School graduates will once again be the focus of attention. Personal discussions with training companies, vocational schools, universities and advisory institutions are intended to pave the way for the future. Admission is free. "Magic Moments" are guaranteed when the Ehrlich Brothers take over Schleyer-Halle on July 9th and 10th for three shows entitled "Dream & Fly." The magician duo will make Lamborghinis fly, cabinets disappear and children's eyes light up. This is worth seeing!

From July 15th to 17th, audiences will experience less magic but still amazement with Cavalluna's new program "Legend of the Desert". The popular horse show takes the audience in the Schleyer-Halle on a journey through the Orient.  The symbiosis of horsemanship, acrobatics, dance and music is unique and must be seen. The crowning final in July will be provided by Wally B. Seck & The Raam Daan in the Porsche-Arena on Friday, July 22nd. Wolof-Sabar drums meet western pop in this group from Senegal. They have long since made a name for themselves internationally.

IMPORTANT NOTE: On July 9th, in addition to the Ehrlich Brothers' show in the Schleyer-Halle, the Iron Maiden concert will take place at the Cannstatter Wasen. Parking spaces are therefore not available. Travel by public transport is strongly recommended.
