The German national futsal team not only beat England 3-1, but also set a new record for the number of spectators at a futsal match.

A total of 5,800 spectators watched the game at the Porsche Arena. Never before has national coach Marcel Loosvel's team played in front of such an atmospheric crowd. With Mexican waves and loud cheering, the spectators not only created a futsal festival, but also promoted the sport.

The spectators included many families and children, some of whom were there with their sports clubs. After the game, the team was celebrated with thunderous applause during their lap of honor. The players fulfilled all requests for photos and autographs. It was an all-around successful futsal evening at the Porsche Arena.
