‘It is a great pleasure and honour for us to be able to welcome an artist like Roland Kaiser, who has made such an outstanding contribution to German-language music, to the Schleyer-Halle on a regular basis during his tours,’ says René Otterbein, department manager of the hall duo. ‘We would like to express our special thanks to Roland Kaiser with a special award for his music, his hits and classics, but also for his always genuine, unadulterated and open manner, which is not often found in the music world.’

René Otterbein presented the musician with the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ from the Stuttgart hall duo in the run-up to his performance. Afterwards, Roland Kaiser, his live band and 10,000 enthusiastic fans celebrated another memorable concert evening in the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle with a journey through time from the current album ‘Marathon’ back to the early days of the extraordinary singer, chansonnier and entertainer's outstanding career.
