Four teams, one trophy - the Haushahn Final4
The countdown is on ... There are only a few days left until the Haushahn Final4 on Saturday and Sunday, March 1 and 2, 2025, the provisional season highlight of the Women's Handball Bundesliga in the Porsche-Arena. With Ludwigsburg, Dortmund, Blomberg and Bensheim, the league leaders and the third, fourth and sixth-placed teams in the league will compete against each other in a unique tournament. “We have a very attractive field of participants and a really great supporting program for the whole family in the Porsche Arena - you couldn't wish for more,” explained Christoph Wendt, Managing Director of the Women's Handball Bundesliga at the preliminary press conference for the Haushahn Final4 yesterday, Tuesday.
“Ludwigsburg is the team that is ahead of everyone else,” says Dortmund coach Henk Groener. Nevertheless, he believes his team has a chance.“We showed at the start of the season how we can surprise Ludwigsburg. On a really good day, we can do that again. And we also have one or two surprises up our sleeve.”
Ludwigsburg are aware of their role as the hunted. However, as clear favorites, they lost the final against Metzingen last year and therefore still have a score to settle. But the other teams also sense their chance. It will therefore be exciting to see whether the cup will spring another surprise - all teams are ready. Who will ultimately take home the trophy will be decided on Saturday and Sunday (March 1 and 2) in the Porsche-Arena.
Anyone who does not yet have tickets should grab them quickly.
