In the run-up to his acclaimed performance in front of around 6,000 fans, the man with the ski goggles was honoured with the special award for the first time by Renè Otterbein, head of the hall duo department at in.Stuttgart Veranstaltungsgesellschaft. ‘It's impressive what a career Ski Aggu has had in such a short space of time. Just a year ago he was on the club stage at Im Wizemann, now he is giving his first solo concert in the sold-out Porsche Arena. The ‘Newcomer of the Year’ award shows how much potential there is in this young artist,’ he explains the choice of the Berliner.

In future, the in.Stuttgart Veranstaltungsgesellschaft, operator of the hall duo, would like to honour artists and bands with this award once a year who have already set milestones and achieved extraordinary success in their young careers - both commercially and, above all, artistically.
