Women's Handball World Championship kicks off at the Porsche Arena
Over a total of six match days, Groups C (including Germany) and G will play their preliminary round matches at the Porsche Arena, with traveling fans creating a lively atmosphere throughout the city.
“The arena is perfectly prepared for this tournament,” said Germany's national coach Markus Gaugisch at a press conference shortly before the start of the tournament. “The German team is ready and excited that it's finally getting underway.”
